Our Pain Expertise

Our pain relief clinics provide Myofree Treatment for short-term and long-term pain resolutions. Our unique expertise in Minimally Invasive Procedures enables us to provide them as an alternative to conservative therapies and surgical options.

What is Myofree Treatment?

Myofree Treatment help to treat a wide variety of common pain conditions like tension headaches, tennis/golfer elbow, plantar fasciitis, joint pain as well as pain in the shoulder, knee, ankle, neck and back. The injections comprise a mixture of local anaesthetic, anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxants to stop muscle spasms and inflammation. They can be administered directly at the painful area, or at related points in order to reduce pain with a low risk of complications or side effects.

MyofreeTreatment Includes:

Botulinum Neurotoxin –

a purified protein that helps relax overactive and painful muscles and provide pain relief to conditions like migraine, tension headaches, chronic neck and back pain, muscle spasms, arthritis and nerve pain. When Botox is injected into a muscle, it blocks the signals sent from the brain which tell the muscle to contract. Botox targets the muscles involved locally by effectively disarming them and ensuring that they do not send pain signals systematically throughout the body.

Coreflex injections –

are used to treat trigger points, or areas of muscle tension, with saline, lidocaine, and a corticosteroid. Once injected, it works immediately to calm irritated nerves in the area and reduce inflammation. Coreflex Injections are used to treat a number of conditions including fibromyalgia, tension headache, and myofascial pain syndrome.

Intra-articular Injections-

Intra-articular injections are used to ease the movement of the joints and frictions. This can be done safely and effectively via surface landmarks and/or the use of ultrasound guidance. Once the needle enters the joint, the lubricant gel will be administered intra-articularly. There are different types of gels ranging from low to high molecular weight. The selection of the type of hyaluronic acid is dependent on the patient’s conditions.
