Corporate Social Responsibility

At Singapore Paincare Center, we believe in giving back to the community. We have been giving consultations and treatments to needy patients since 2010. Each year, 3-5 needy patients are means-tested and identified by an independent party to receive treatment from us. Within Singapore Paincare Center, we hope to build upon what we have achieved so far, and are constantly looking for worthwhile causes to participate in.

Voluteering at Canossaville Children and Community Services

In 2019, SPCC volunteered at Canossaville Children and Community Services. Since Decemeber is the month of thanksgiving, we decided to do something different by touching the hearts of the younger generation. Canossaville children & community services run a student care centre & preschool in the Aljunied-Macpherson area. Their program caters to both mainstream, as well as those with mild-to-moderate additional needs, giving priority to the poorest living in the lower-income neighborhoods and they open to all faiths and races.

We spent an afternoon with them, with many fun activities planned. We started off with an art & craft session for them to make xmas card for their loved ones. Then we had so much fun with the games relay segments. Lastly, we wrapped up the afternoon with some snacks catered for them while Dr Lee became the Santa claus to give out presents to the children.

Voluteering at the Geylang East Home for the Aged

In 2017, SPCC volunteered at the Geylang East Home for the Aged. Every 20th October is World Osteoporosis Day. Riding on to this meaningful campaign in promoting bone health awareness, SPCC has the privilege to share and interact with the residents at Geylang East Home For The Aged on 4th October 2017.

Apart from providing the residents with bone density checks and basic health screening, Dr Bernard Lee also conducted pain assessments to many residents and impart pain care knowledge to the team of wonderful caregivers at GEHA.
